Complete Guide to Salon Creative

Angela Kumpe and Lori Craig

Barkleigh Honors Award winners and Groomer to Groomer magazine cover girls, Angela Kumpe and Lori Craig will be bringing a brand new program to Groom & Kennel Expo this year!

“We’ve spent the past year coming up with new ideas for the ultimate creative grooming seminar,” says Angela. “We are so excited to debut it in Pasadena.” They will cover everything from simple, salon-style, creative designs that you can do for your customers in your salon to marketing and selling those services.

This class will include hands-on demonstrations with color being applied and rinsed in the classroom, so you can be a part of the entire creative process. Starting with some very quick creative designs that can be completed in the salon in as little as 5-15 minutes, like leopard spots and zebra stripes.

“This class is a ‘One stop shop’ for creative groomers,” states Lori. “We want people to go home with the knowledge and confidence to include coloring in their daily grooming.” During the class, Angela and Lori will explain each step of the creative process to you as they complete it. They will cover design planning, pattern placement, color choices, color application, rinsing, product safety, and proper use of all creative styling products. They will then show you how to promote this fun add-on service to your customers.

This program is included in the DO IT ALL and Friday package plans. It can be purchased separately. Includes tradeshow on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. See registration for price and schedule for times.
